  • A vehicle crashed into a beloved Camdenton business on Friday morning causing minor injuries to the driver and an employee. Around 10:29 a.m., Camdenton Police reported to The Butcher Shop located to the area of Illinois Street at Osage Avenue.

  • A vehicle crashed into a beloved Camdenton business on Friday morning causing minor injuries to the driver and an employee. Around 10:29 a.m., Camdenton Police reported to The Butcher Shop located to the area of Illinois Street at Osage Avenue. 
    When they arrived, officers found a 2006 Toyota Highlander parked inside the store which caused heavy damage to the structure and interior of the store. 
    The initial investigation revealed that 69-year-old Katherine Rudloff of St. Louis had turned into the parking lot with the intention to park but lost control of the vehicle. 
    A 20 year old Camdenton woman that was working inside the building at the time of the crash was struck by the vehicle on her legs and was also injured by falling debris. Both driver and employee refused medical treatment at the scene.
    Camdenton Fire and Mid County Fire also responded this accident. 
    The investigation is ongoing.
