  • The Berry Best Book Club is celebrating its 15th year of discussing great books once a month.
The meeting for just this month is the second Sunday in July; July 13 at 1:30 p.m., at Yankee Peddler Tea Room in Osage Beach.
If you would like to attend the book club, please give Yankee Peddler Tea Room a call at (573) 348-5045 and make your lunch reservation today.
Pick up the June selection — on July 13, the club will discuss “One Summer, America 1927,” by Bill Bryson. Yes, it was the summer of Lindbergh's flight, Babe Ruth approaching his home run record, Al Capone was tightening his grip on bootlegging, and much much more excitement was transpiring. Bryson has proved himself to the Berry Best Book Club year after year. He wrote this narrative non-fiction of the highest order. Read and learn from Bryson who is an expert writer and a joy to read.
The Berry Best Book Club welcomes everyone to join the fellowship of readers and enjoy an afternoon of food, fun, and a great book discussion.
