Two recent burglaries in the lake area may be connected, and the public’s help is needed in finding the suspects.
Several guns and collector coins were taken in separate burglaries June 10-11 and June 15, the first in Miller County and the second in Osage Beach. Law enforcement officers believe the same black passenger vehicle was involved in both incidents.
An auction house in Miller County was burglarized between the close of business Tuesday, June 10, and opening on Tuesday, June 11. Two guns were stolen from inside a display case.
The suspects are a white male in a red St. Louis Cardinals shirt, and a blonde female wearing an orange tube top.
Information provided by the auction house in Miller County indicates the suspects were driving a black four-door passenger car.
In the early morning hours of Sunday, June 15, the Osage Beach Police Department received information of a burglary at a pawnshop.
Video surveillance shows the male subject casing the store several times. Once inside, he smashed a display case and stole five handguns and several sheets of a collector coin known as V nickles. The male subject left the scene on foot and moments later sped away in an unidentified newer model black passenger car.
The Osage Beach Police Department and Miller County Sheriff’s Office are requesting assistance with identifying the subjects.
