  • Losing just ten percent of your weight greatly increases health benefits.
The WLS (Weight Loss Support) group, that meets at the Camdenton Library every Thursday at 10 a.m., is issuing a challenge to the community.  Beginning June 26 and going through September 4, WLS will be sponsoring a weight loss challenge.  Participants are asked to pay a $10 entry fee and weigh in every week (anytime on Thursday).  They will not be required to join the group but would certainly be welcome to do so.  Those who gain less than a pound will have to pay an additional fifty cents and if they gain a pound or more it will cost a dollar participants who lose weight for the week will owe nothing.  The winner will be based on percentage of weight lost.  When the competition is over the money collected will go to the biggest loser. Let us help you to reach your weight loss goals.  Any questions should be directed to Jennie at Camden County Library 573-346-5954.  Jennie is a founding member of the WLS group and hopes to have good participation with this challenge.
