  • A Dupo, Ill. woman was arrested and faces multiple charges after a high-speed nighttime wreck injured two other Illinoisans Saturday morning.
    Christina Henry, 28, was driving a 1990 Black Thunder Runabout at the 37.5 mile marker of the main channel when she piloted the vessel aground around 2:10 a.m. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the Runabout was traveling at a "high rate of speed."
    Two passengers on the vessel, Erica Bagley, 26, of Alton, Ill. and Reggie Allen, 31, of  Dupo, Ill. sustained injuries. Bagley's injuries were listed as serious. Both were taken to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
    Henry was arrested on three charges: No boating education certificate, traveling above nighttime speed limit and two felony counts of boating while intoxicated, assault with a vessel. She was taken to the Camden County Adult Detention Facility. She is being held on no bond.
    According to the report, none of the people involved were wearing a safety device at the time of the incident.
