Eldon FFA Officers attended the LEAD Conference on May 30. The LEAD conference is the first chance that the FFA officer team gets to go through a Flight school training plan on how to work together to make their chapter better. It is hosted by former state officers and gives the chapter officers a chance to gain some skills from older members that have been in their shoes before. The LEAD conference really allows the officers to set goals, see how the chapter POA works, and also interact with other officer teams to gain ideas that will make their chapter better in the future. Officers who attended were: Nick Parks, Nolan Scott, Melinda Groves, Holly Enowski, Shelby Bledsoe, Brett Looten, Matt Stollings, Amber Bungart.

On Friday evening, the Eldon FFA officers participated in the Relay for Life booth. They set up a photo booth and had baked goods with all the proceeds going towards the RELAY for LIFE foundation. This was a great opportunity for the officers to give back to the community and they really enjoyed getting to interact with survivors and community members.
