Mary Coffey and Jenelle Horton were recognized for April and May.

Mary Coffey, Paraprofessional in Life Skills at the Middle School, was named the Classified Employee of the Month for April.  Mary has been with the Camdenton School District for seven years.  Megan Webster, sixth grade teacher at Oak Ridge Intermediate, states in her nomination, “Mary Coffey always treated her students with respect but also held them to high standards.  She handles every student she works with according to their specific plan, and it is obvious that she is passionate about the students learning as many skills as possible in order to make them independent adults.  Mary is an excellent educator with students.”  

Nancy Dickerson R.N. and Karissa Steiner from the Camdenton Middle School also nominated Mary.  Mary Coffey was presented with the award at the April 14 school board meeting.


Jenelle Horton, Camdenton Middle School Administrative Secretarial Assistant, was named the Classified Employee of the Month for May.  Horton has been with the Camdenton School District since 2008.  Middle School Principal Dr. Paula Brown submitted the nomination for Jenelle Horton.  Brown states in her nomination, “Jenelle is an incredible person.  She works hard to assure that everyone’s needs are met on a daily basis.  She puts her heart into her work and creates lasting bonds with staff and students.  Jenelle is an inspiration to the people around her and a great example of an excellent Administrative Assistant”.
