  • Lake Regional Health System will host meetings of the Lake of the Ozarks Baldrige Community of Excellence organization in May, August and November. Area businesses interested in quality and process improvement are encouraged to attend.
The Lake of the Ozarks BCOE was formed to provide opportunities for lake-area businesses and individuals interested in following the Malcolm Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. Baldridge-based awards in Missouri include the Missouri Quality Award, Vision for Performance Excellence Program and Excellence in the Heartland. Lake Regional is a three time recipient of the Missouri Quality Award.
BCOE meetings are sponsored by Lake Regional Health System as chartered by the Excellence in Missouri Foundation. Meetings offer networking opportunities, and are designed to facilitate learning from other members and feature speakers from the Excellence in Missouri Foundation, as well as Missouri Quality Award and Baldrige National Quality Award winners.
Meetings begin at 7:30 a.m. and are scheduled the following Fridays, May 9, Aug. 8 and Nov. 14, in Lake Regional’s third floor conference rooms. Breakfast will be available at 7:15 a.m.
The August session will include a presentation from K&N Management, a Baldrige winner. K&N Management, located in Austin, Texas, is just the second restaurant group to be recognized as a National Quality Award recipient. The presentation will center on “Customer Focus: How strong internal cultures drive customer loyalty.”
