  • Pehle elected as Eldon Chamber of Commerce board president

  • The Eldon Chamber of Commerce officially welcomed the newly elected board president, Tonya Pehle. 
    Pehle and her family moved to Eldon from Mexico, Mo. seven years ago. 
    "I joined the Chamber in 2011 and have served as the Secretary, Vice-President and now incoming President. I have enjoyed working with the Chamber Board of Directors and meeting many of the Chamber member businesses," Pehle said. "Eldon is a great community with a lot of great people who really care about their community."
    Pehle is  the Director of Physician Recruitment and Medical Staff Services at Lake Regional Health System. Her husband works for the State of Missouri in a specialized law enforcement unit focusing on crimes against children. They have a 25-year-old son, Justin, who is a utility lineman for the union, a 20-year-old son, Matthew, who is completing his second year Central Methodist University, and a 15-year-old daughter, Taylor, who is a freshman at Eldon High School and plays basketball and softball. 
    "I am excited about becoming President and plan to continue to work closely with our Chamber board in developing measurable goals for my one year term," Pehle said. "I also plan to work closely with Chamber members, our city administrators and the Eldon School District in helping to improve business and support economic growth and prosperity in our area." 
    Pehle is a board member of the Lake of the Ozarks Regional Economic Development Council and am active in the Eldon Athletic Booster Club. She is also President-Elect for the Missouri Association of Medical Staff Services and am CPMSM (Certified Professional in Medical Services Management, CPCS (Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist), and CMSR (Certified Medical Staff Recruiter) certified.
