  • 1 Cheers to
Richard and Ian Miller, the father/son duo who earned the Highway Patrol’s highest honor for their heroics in helping the victims of a January night car wreck.
    2 Cheers to
the City of Osage Beach for exploring the possibility of deepening the City Park Pond. While it might cost money, deepening the pond will benefit the park in the long run.
    3 Cheers to
the news that Camdenton will get more than a dozen permanent jobs.
    1 Jeers to
convicted rapist Timothy Register for finally facing his sentencing hearing last week after fleeing the lake area last year. Register will now have 90 years to think about how he ruined an innocent child’s life.
    2 Jeers to
the organization — or lack thereof — of the Easter Egg hunt in the city of Linn Creek. Eggs weren’t ready for hunting and some children left with nothing at all. That’s not a very fun way to celebrate Easter for young ones.
