  • Lakers take third at Carthage Invitational

  • The Camdenton Lakers returned to action on the greens on Monday afternoon, and walked away with a team total of 321.
    Their total proved good enough for a third place finish out of a field of 20 teams at the Carthage-Sonic Invitational.
    Michael Pfitzner led the team with a 76, finishing 6th out of 100 competitors. Michael Hake finished 18th with a score of 81, while Mason Bennett and Braden Demark tied for 22nd with 82. Seth Crockett took 35th with an 84.
    Glendale claimed the top position with a score of 307, with Lamar coming in second just three strokes ahead of Camdenton.
    Dylan Bekemeier of Republic finished first with a 72, while Branson's David Bennett finished second with a 73. Christopher Obert of Glendale took third with a 74.

    The Osage Indians' golf team faced off against Versailles last Thursday at Rolling Hills, from which Osage won 183-196.
    Skyler Slack led the Indians with a 42, followed by Austin Hansen with a 45. Riley Vanderveld finished with a 47, Garrett Lynch shot a 49, while Michael Crosby recorded a 50.
