  • During the City of Camdenton April 15 Board of Aldermen Meeting, the city approved the leasing of a 16,580 square foot Galva Foam Building to FiberGlass Tank Solutions, LLC. The building had been empty since early 2012.
The five-year maximum lease at the Camdenton Memorial Airport includes an approximate 3.6-acre site of a previous 9-acre site and calls for approximately $50,000 in improvements and a required minimum of five jobs by the company, but their business plan anticipates 18 new jobs.
“Fiberglass Tank Solutions is proud to call Camdenton home and we look forward to expanding our national exposure through the business relationship of the building lease with the City of Camdenton. We are encouraged by the central U.S. location and the dedicated workforce to better serve and grow our customer base.” Kevin Hawthorn, Managing Member of the Company said.
Camdenton Mayor John McNabb noted that the city is thrilled to announce the new addition coming to the lake area.
“We look forward to having a long term relationship with Mr. Hawthorn and his company. His decision to select the Camdenton Industrial Park to grow his business speaks volumes on the excellent location and exciting future of both the Industrial Park and the Camdenton Memorial Airport,” McNabb said.
The company calls for an implementation of a manufacturing process that includes:
    • Prepackaging and assembly of large municipal sewage and storm water lift stations, manholes and wastewater treatment systems.
    • Design, fabrication, and assembly of commercial and residential underground fiberglass storm shelters; and
    • Fiberglass open molding process for above and below ground tank manufacturing including: Oilfield Storage Tanks, Wastewater and Water Storage Tanks and Chemical Storage Tanks.

The Camdenton Industrial Park is a 90-acre park at Highways 7 and 5. The park is enhanced by the Camdenton Memorial Airport with central water, sewer, electric, natural gas utilities, and fiber optics. Five acre plus lots are readily available. Interested parties wishing to locate to the Camdenton Industrial Park should contact: J. Jeff Hancock, City Administrator, ICMA-CM by calling Camdenton City Hall at 573-346-3600.
