Osage Beach, Mo. – The Osage Indians' golf team finally got the chance to play in some nice weather on Monday night, in which the Indians posted their best team score of the season.

Unfortunately, Lincoln finished one stroke better, with a team score of 181.

Leading the Osage varsity on Monday night was Michael Crosby with a 44 on the day, followed by Austin Hansen and Garrett Lynch, both finishing with a 45. Riley Vanderveld recorded a 48, with Skyler Slack rounding out the five with a 49.

"My varsity guys are starting to hit their stride, but still have some bugs to work out before they really start playing at the level I think they are capable of," Coach L.J. Weeks said. "We have a lot of golf to play in the next couple of week so they will get plenty of swing time to work on things."

In the JV match, Osage's Hayden Carlson led the team with a 53, followed by Steven Ziegler with a 55, as the team finished three strokes behind Lincoln with a team score of 230.
