  • Get tickets now for a suspense thriller production coming to the Royal Theatre in downtown Versailles.
    Fredrick Knott's "Wait Until Dark" is being presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York. The play is based on the 1967 movie of the same name.
    In the play, a blind woman, Susy Hendrix, is left to deal with three con men who are looking for a doll filled with diamonds that her husband, Sam, accepted from a mysterious lady while on a business trip to Montreal. Susy realizes none of them are who they say they are and in order to win the game of deceit, she will place them in her "blind" world and try to beat them at their own game.
    Stephanie Steinmeyer is directing and Tina Holsten is assistant director.
    Catch the play on opening night Friday, April 18 or see it Saturday, April 19, Friday, April 25 or Saturday, April 26. All performances start at 7 p.m.
    Adult tickets are $10; $5 for students/children (ages 10 and under at the discretion of their parent or guardian).
