  • CHS Band to host trivia night Saturday

  • The Pride of the Lake Band Booster Club is holding their third annual Trivia and Silent Auction Saturday April 5 at Camdenton Middle School.

  • The Pride of the Lake Band Booster Club is holding their third annual Trivia and Silent Auction Saturday April 5 at Camdenton Middle School. 
    The cost is $15 per adult or $10 per student to form a team of 6. This includes dinner that will be served throughout the evening starting with a salad, followed by homemade lasagna with green beans and a hot roll and end with apple or cherry crisp.
    Participants will also enjoy the sounds of The Camdenton High School’s Stage Band and the Jazz Band throughout the evening directed by Mr. Paul Baur. Doors open at 6 p.m. with trivia starting promptly at 7 p.m.
    There will be an auction items to bid on that have been generously donated from many businesses throughout the lake community.
    Funds raised from the trivia night allows the band booster club to provide scholarships to graduating seniors and also scholarships for band students to attend a summer band camp program of their choice. Band boosters help with providing snacks and drinks for the high school students during their summer marching band practices, provide meals at competitions the marching band attends in September and October of each year and assist the band directors with what additionally is needed throughout the year.
