  • Task force rounds up 12 on drug charges in March

  • The Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force has had a busy March. Assisted by other local law enforcement agencies, the task force recently announced the arrest of 12 residents in the region on drug-related charges.

  • The Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force has had a busy March. Assisted by other local law enforcement agencies, the task force recently announced the arrest of 12 residents in the region on drug-related charges.
    A drug interdiction traffic stop by the task force and Eldon Police Department on Highway 52 led to the arrest of Robert Farr, 28, of Sedalia on March 3 for Possession of Heroin and Possession of Methamphetamine. He has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Bond was set at $35,000.
    On March 6, the task force, assisted by the Miller County Sheriff’s Office and the Eldon Police Department, executed a search warrant at “Dave’s Small Engine Repair” located at 227 West 7th Street in the City of Eldon. David Bradshaw, 55, of Eldon was arrested and charged with Distribution of Methamphetamine. Bond was set at $50,000.
    On March 19, the task force along with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 22111 Highway T in Morgan County. Earl Fields, 52, of Stover was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine. Bond was set at $30,000.
    On the same day, these agencies along with the Stover Police Department also executed a search warrant at the residence located at 218 South Maple Street in the City of Stover. Angela Connell, 49, of Stover was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine. Robert Redden, 46, of Stover was also arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Resisting Arrest. Martin Wayson, 37, of Stover was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, and Anna Wood, 58, of Stover was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine. The bond for each was set at $30,000.
    On March 20, the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant at 4543 Butterfield Trail in the town of Florence. Roger Lewis, 54, was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine. Bond was set at $30,000.
    Another bust in Stover occurred the same day after the task force, assisted by the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office and the Stover Police Department, executed a search warrant at the residence located at 403 North Oak St. in the City of Stover. Wesley Muller, 24, was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine. Bond was set at $30,000.
    Arrests in Morgan County continued on March 21 with the sheriff's office and task force executing a search warrant at 24008 Highway TT. Kenneth Schumacher, 65, of Versailles was arrested and charged with Distribution of Methamphetamine and Possession of Methamphetamine. His bond was set at $250,000. Stacy Schumacher, 36, of Versailles was also arrested and her parole was revoked for testing positive for Methamphetamine after giving birth to a child two days before on March 19.
    Finally on March 22, a search was executed by the task force and the Benton County Sheriff's Office at the residence located at 27699 State Road OO in Warsaw. Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were located in the residence along with a sawed-off shotgun. Kenneth Wombles, 36, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of an Illegal Weapon. Bond was set at $50,000.
