  • 1. 30th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade
    The Bagnell Dam Strip Association will host the 30th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Lake Ozark on March 15. The parade starts at 1 p.m. The parade begins at the Al Elam Real Estate office on Bagnell Dam Blvd. and will head toward Bagnell Dam. Cost to enter is $20 per civic entry or $25 for business entry. Each additional entry in either category is $5. First through third place will be awarded in both categories, along with a grand champion. No four wheelers will be allowed.

    2. Parade on the Water
    The St. Patrick’s Day Parade on the Water will be held on March 15. A breakfast buffet will be available at Ozark Bar-B-Que at 9 a.m., parade registration is from 9:15-10 a.m., the Blessing of the Fleet is at 10:15 a.m., and the parade begins at 10:30 a.m. Stops are at Richard Knoggins and Jolly Rogers. Decorate your boat and join the parade, or board the Tropic Island Cruise Boat from 10-10:15 a.m. Cost is $30 each and includes breakfast.     3. Shamrock Shake Dance
    Listen to Big Band-style music by the Lake Jazz Band during the Shamrock Shake Dance at the Camden County Museum March 16 from 2-5 p.m. Cost is $6 per person. Refreshments provided. For more information, call 573-365-6155.
    4. 5K Races
    • The annual Eldon Park and Recreation St. Patrick's Day 5K Run/Walk will start and end in front of the Department of Public Safety building on March 15. The walk and run begins at 8 a.m. Cost is $20. Medals for the top three finishers in each age group will be awarded. Go to www.eldonmo.org for a form.
    • A 5K fun walk/run for Kids’ Harbor will be held along the cart paths at Hidden Lakes (Tan-Tar-A) on March 15. Registration is from 8-10 a.m. with the run beginning at 10 a.m. Cost is $25 per person. For more information email tsmosher@yahoo.com.
    5. Corned Beef and Cabbage
    The Versailles Masonic Lodge 320 is holding a St. Paddy's themed fundraiser dinner from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on March 14 at the lodge located at 308 N. Walnut.
    The menu will include corned beef and cabbage with potatoes, green beans, dessert and drink. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-10. Children under five eat for free. Carry-outs and deliveries are available. Call 573-378-4914. There will also be a silent auction of new and used items as well as a shotgun raffle.
    6. Short Bus Shuffle
    The fourth annual Short Bus Shuffle will be held at various west side bars and restaurants on March 15. Wrist bands are $5 and available at all participating sponsors and required to get on a shuttle. There will be several routes stopping at Bear Bottom Resort, Buffalo Benny's, Chances R, Osage River, The Lake House Inn, Branding Iron, Captain Ron's, Hurricane Dolly's, C.G.'s Mini Mart, Deep Water Inn, Cannon Smoked, Paradise, Scallywags, Buffalo Benny's and Big Dick's.
