  • Robert William Burns born May 1, 1973 and daughter Sadie Marie Burns born June 2, 2011, departed this life on March 7, 2014.
     Robert Burns is survived by his beautiful daughter and Sadie's sister, Chelsea Elaine Burns, whom he loved with all his heart; his mother, Linda K. Clary of Sunrise Beach, Missouri, father, Earl Eugene Burns and his wife Bonnie of Osage City, Kansas; grandmother, Edna P. Clary; three sisters, Sandra Frazee, Jeanette Glynn and Ashley Burns; three brothers, Ray, Travis and Cody Burns. A host of nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends that loved him very much.
     Sadie is survived by her sister, Chelsea Elaine Burns; her great-grandmother, Edna Pearl Clary; paternal grandparents, Linda K. Clary and Earl and Bonnie Burns; maternal grandparents, Michael Monnig and Sharon Monnig of Camdenton, Missouri; and a host of many aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. We all loved her.
     Robert was raised in Sunrise Beach, Missouri and graduated from Camdenton High School. He loved his family foremost.  He specialized in the construction field throughout his adult life. Robert overcame several obstacles through his life. His family was extremely proud of him. He had a great love for the outdoors, fishing, mushroom and arrowhead hunting as did Sadie. His daughters were foremost in his life and he loved them so much. He was such a good father. 
    Robert was close with his mother, Linda Clary, his best friend and loved her so much.  Sadie loved her "Daddy" and her "Sissy".  Sadie loved her grandparents and spending time with them.  She loved to eat, watch Dora and Sponge Bob. She loved playing with Athena, Haley and her dollhouse.  
    Robert "Bobby" and Sadie "Pee Wee" you are in our hearts forever.
     Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 12th, at the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.  Graveside services and interment will follow in the Garber Memorial Estates Cemetery in Laurie.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.  Expressions of sympathy may be left online at www.kidwellgarber.com.  Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.
