  • Ruthie Eaton Webster of Macks Creek, Missouri departed this life on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at her home. She was born to the late David “Duck” and Lucille Eaton on July 4, 1956 in Lebanon, Missouri.
On May 14, 1977, Ruthie married the love of her life, Danny Webster, and to this union five children were born. They made their home in the Macks Creek area for the past 36 years.
Ruthie was an active member in the First Baptist Church of Macks Creek. Most of her work was in Children’s Ministries as a Sunday School teacher, VBS Director/Teacher, GA Leader, and an AWANA Leader/Teacher. Ruthie was a loved and respected childcare provider in her home for 33 years, taking care of many of the community’s children. Traveling, reading her Amish books, and playing cards with family and friends were some of her favorite things to do. She was the most loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Spending time with her grandbabies was the most treasured time for her. Ruthie’s kindness, love, strength, and grace inspired all who knew her. Although there is great loss with Ruthie’s passing, her loved ones find peace in knowing she is with our Savior and Lord.
Ruthie is survived by her husband, Dan Webster. One son; Danny Webster, four daughters; Misty McCrackin and husband, Stephen; Megan Webster, Andrea Skaggs and husband, Clayton, and Amber Webster; five grandchildren; Hunter Webster, Reagan McCrackin, Madelyn McCrackin, Mia Webster, and Clare Skaggs; her Mother, Lucille Eaton; three siblings; Kathy Boze, Brenda Amato and husband, Louis, and David Eaton and wife, Karri; one sister-in-law, Becky Lynn and husband, Ronnie and many more family members and friends.
