  • Lake Media is creating a reader advisory board to help format and shape the future of the company's products. We’re pleased to announce this exciting new opportunity to incorporate readers into the planning and development process of the daily newspaper and other products such as the weekly papers and magazines.
    Why are we doing this?
We want to find out what our most precious resource — our readers — want most out of our products.
We’ll be looking for suggestions on how to better serve readers and the communities we live in.
We’ll want to know what stories you liked and why.
We’d like a broad spectrum of full-time residents to be represented from all around the lake area we call home — both young and experienced, professional and working class, male and female, and representatives of all political affiliations.
We’ll ask board members to serve for six months and will meet in a roundtable discussion for an hour or so. The board will meet on the third Monday every month from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. starting on April 21. The meetings will rotate from Camdenton to the Osage Beach/Lake Ozark area.
If you would like to take part in this community project, send us a brief letter in about 150 words outlining why you would like to be on the reader advisory board.
Here’s some things you may want to consider including:
    • What Lake Media products are most important to you and your family?
    • What would you like to see more of and what less of?
    Also include:
    • Your name
    • Address
    • Phone number
    • E-mail address
    • Education
    • Vocation
We’d like to get this implemented soon, so please write us today.
