Curtis D. Morgan, 62, of Warrensburg, MO, died Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, MO, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Born October 30, 1951, in Mexico, MO, Curtis was the son of William Charles Morgan who survives of Mexico, MO and the late Lucille Dull Morgan. He was a 1969 graduate of Mexico High School. On September 5, 1992, he married Mary Ellen Brzuchalski who survives of the home. He retired after 30 years of service as district manager for Wal-Mart and was presently working for Bankers Life & Casualty Co. He lived in Warrensburg since 2011, moving from Sunrise Beach, MO, and was an avid golfer.
In addition to his wife, Mary Ellen and his father, William, Curtis is survived by two sons, Shawn Morgan and wife Christina of Allen, TX and Stacey Morgan of Swansea, IL; one sister, Janice Morgan of Mexico, MO; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and two nieces.
In addition to his mother Lucille, Curtis was preceded in death by one brother, Alan Morgan.
