  • First National Bank helped to make sure several local families had a proper Christmas this past week. Because of their internal fundraising organization “Gifts From The Heart”, 19 families including 49 children were provided for this past Christmas.
First National Bank’s “Gifts From The Heart” fundraising organization began back in 1997. Since the inception, First National Bank associates have assisted 258 families at Christmas. Providing each child family member with wrapped presents (including both clothing and toys) as well as providing the Parents with a gift certificate to a local grocery store to purchase food items for the family.
First National Bank associates raise money to buy the presents and food certificates that are donated to the families from fundraisers throughout the year, including potluck lunches, Craft & Bake Sales and many other efforts.
“There were several reasons why I decided to join First National Bank this past Fall…” stated K.C. Cloke, First National Banks’ Marketing Director “…one of them being the compassion that not only comes from the company itself but stems down to each and every associate; it’s great to work for and with people who truly care.”
