The man involved in a Jan. 2 accident now faces additional charges.
John W. Davis, 35, of Camdenton, was the driver of a 1998 GMC when he lost control of the vehicle on a snow-covered Route D Wednesday night.
The vehicle then collided with a bridge, overturned, traveled down an embankment and came to rest partially submerged in a creek.
A passenger, John Davis, 13, received serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
The elder Davis has since been charged with second degree assault DWI resulting in injury, endangering the welfare of a child and no insurance. He was taken to the Camden County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
