An Eldon man is behind bars after a drug arrest Wednesday.
On Dec. 18 at 7:06 a.m., while on patrol, an Eldon Officer found a male subject parked in a local parking lot that appeared to be unconscious. The officer made contact with the subject and woke the subject up. After further investigation it was revealed that the subject, Jeffrey Boyland, 22, of Eldon, had a warrant for his arrest from Miller County for “Dangerous Drugs” bond set at $2,500.
The officer also found a small bag of prescription pills and drug paraphernalia on his person. Boyland was arrested for the active warrant and pending charges for the pills located on his person.
