There is still time to tell Santa what you want for Christmas.  Santa will be greeting visitors from his chair in the court house rotunda from 2-4 p.m. For more information email kvdowntown@gmail.com 
Saturday, December 21st
Enjoy a festive evening of food and fun at a Community Christmas Dinner.  Meal begins and 5 p.m. and festivities begin at 6 p.m. at the Georgian Room of the Student Union on Franklin Street on the Truman  campus.  Come share a meal and share a memory.  For more information call 660-988-1127 or 660-626-7215. 
Sunday, December 22nd
Kirksville First Christian Church will present their 40th Annual Living Nativity on the east lawn of the church, located at 100 N. High.  The scene will face Harrison Street.  Live animals will include a donkey, sheep and cows.  The scene will tell the story of Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus, the Angel and the arrival of the shepherds and the Wise Men.  Performances will begin at 5:30, 6:00, 6:30 and 7:00pm with each performance approximately 20 minutes in length.  After each performance visitors are welcome to pet the animals and go inside for refreshments.
Christmas Day, December 25th
The Community Christmas Dinner begins at 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 300 E. Washington Street.  Anyone who would enjoy sharing good food, good company, and Christian joy on the holiday is invited to attend.   The cost is free but monetary and food donations are accepted.  Transportation is available by calling the Church office in advance at 660-665-7712.
