The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold a local public hearing in Osage Beach at 6 p.m., Dec. 11, at the Osage Beach City Hall to receive public comment on water and sewer rate cases filed by Lake Region Water & Sewer Company.

The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold a local public hearing in Osage Beach at 6 p.m., Dec. 11, at the Osage Beach City Hall to receive public comment on water and sewer rate cases filed by Lake Region Water & Sewer Company.

The hearing will begin with a question-and-answer session. The Commission will take sworn testimony from customers at the conclusion of the session.

This local public hearing will be held in a facility that meets the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. On July 16, 2013, Lake Region Water & Sewer Company filed rate cases with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking to increase annual water and sewer operating revenues by approximately $218,762. The proposed increase on a residential customer of the water and sewer company appears below.

Lake Region Water & Sewer Company provides water and sewer service in Camden and Miller counties and in the community of the Village of Four Seasons. The water and sewer company provides sewer service to approximately 629 customers and water service to approximately 652 customers in its Shawnee Bend service area. Lake Region Water & Sewer Company provides sewer service to approximately 243 customers in its Horseshoe Bend service area.
