obert “Bob” E. McEachron, age 84, of Tonganoxie, KS and previously of Camdenton, MO and Kansas City, KS went home to be with the lord on Friday, Nov. 29, 2013. Visitation will be 6 to 7 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 7 p.m. both Friday Dec. 6, 2013 at the West Haven Baptist Church (1000 West St. Tonganoxie, KS.) Burial will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at the Parrack Grove Cemetery near Roach, MO. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Parrack Gove Missionary Baptist Church-Cemetery Fund in care of the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home.
Bob was born on July 29, 1929 in Dalhart, Texas. He was an US Army Veteran and retired from Farmland Industries. Bob was married to the love of his life, Cora Jean Wallace McEachron, and she preceded him in death. Throughout his entire life and especially during his retirement he enjoyed fishing and spending time with family.
Bob is also preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
Survivors include his four children, Harold McEachron and wife Connie, Sue Poje and husband Joe all of Kansas City, KS., Vic McEachron and wife Lynn of Tonganoxie, KS. and Steve McEachron and wife Deb of Des Moines, IA., four brothers Richard, Donald, Duane and James McEachron, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one on the way.
