William W. "Buddy" Stuck, 64, of Huntsville, MO, died November 27, 2013, at Moberly Regional Medical Center. He was born March 8, 1949, in Moberly, MO, the son of William Finis and Frances Lorene (Esry) Stuck. He married Nancy Sue Cook on September 3, 1977, in Huntsville and she preceded him in death on August 3, 1992.
Buddy was a lifelong Huntsville resident. He was Chief of Police for the city of Huntsville for 25 plus years. Buddy drove a school bus for the Westran school district for many years, he served on the Huntsville Volunteer Fire Department, was Randolph County Deputy Coroner, was the president of Happy Homes in Huntsville and worked for Sherwood Signs for many years.
Buddy is survived by three daughters, Melissa Sue (Blake) Barnes of Huntsville, MO, Crystal Gayle Stuck of Huntsville, MO, Deanna Jo (Ray) Hall of Daniel, W.V.; a son, David (Amanda) Stuck of Wisconsin; a brother, Ron (Della) Stuck of Huntsville, MO; sisters Patricia (Terry) Hendren of O'Fallon, MO, Linda (David) Gibler of Madison, MO, Joan Wyatt of Michigan; thirteen grandchildren; one great grandson; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, William Finis Stuck, Jr.
Visitation is Monday, December 2, 2013, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Westran High School Gymnasium. Services are Tuesday, December 3 at 1:00 p.m. at the Westran High School Gymnasium with burial in Huntsville City Cemetery under the direction of PATTON Funeral Home of Huntsville. In Lieu of Flowers the family suggest memorials be made to the MACC "Buddy Stuck" Law Enforcement Scholarship.
