The Camdenton High School Renaissance Yuletide Feastes are a holiday tradition in the lake area. This year's Feastes are set for the evenings of Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 7 and 8. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the Feastes begin at 7:00 p.m. The Feastes will feature a cast of 200 students. The CHS Renaissance Singers, comprised of members of Bel Cantos and Concert Choir, will portray the Royal Court and Royal Courtiers of Camdenton Manor.
Residents are invited to come join in the merriment and revelry as the CHS Commons Area transforms into “Ye Olde Camdenton Castle.”
Each performance will feature the choirs singing the music of the season, a four-course meal served by comely wenches and sturdy knaves and a short play by the Royal Players with many antics from the Jesters and cast members.
The meal for the evening will be an apple spinach salad, broccoli cheese soup, pork loin with cranberry sauce with green bean almondine and twice-baked potatoes, apple cobbler and plenty of fresh breads, wassail and other beverages.
Tickets for the event are $25 per person and can be obtained by calling Cheri Bonacker or Trent Clayton at 346-9296.
