Rogers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music is the Kirksville High School musical this year. Performances are Thursday –Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. The performances will be at the William Matthew Middle School Auditorium, 1515 S. Cottage Grove. Contact 660-665-4631 for more information.
Thursday, November 21st
Enjoy a fall choral concert featuring the Truman University Chorus at 8 p.m. in Ophelia Parrish Performance Hall on the Truman State University campus. The concert is free and open to the public. Call 660-785-4417 for more information.
Friday, November 21st
Come out and enjoy the night sky and view and learn about the constellations, planets and more at the Observatory Open House. The observatory is at the Truman University Farm at the south end of LaHarpe Street. Star gaze from 7-9 p.m. Contact rah2737@truman.edu for more information.
Friday, November 22nd
The 38th Annual El Kadir Jewels Bazaar and Luncheon is at the Shrine Club at 2401 S. Baltimore. The Bazaar begins at 9 a.m. A bountiful meal will be served from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Contact 660-627-4249 for more information.
Saturday, November 23rd
Christmas in Novinger runs from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. and includes: a Country Craft Festival at the Novinger School, on Hwy 149, 1/3 mile north of Hwy 6 with 70 booths ; a Holiday Bazaar at the Novinger Community Center and Shopper’s Delight and the Novinger Fire House.
