Football at the lake has officially wrapped up for the season, as the Camdenton Lakers and the Eldon Mustangs fell in the state quarterfinals on Saturday, Nov. 16. The Seneca Indians proved to be too much for the Eldon Mustangs, as they defeated Eldon in a 43-0 shutout. Eldon's offense failed to produce any points, while the defense gave up more touchdowns than they have allowed throughout their entire postseason. The Mustangs finish the season 9-4. The Lakers' loss came in a close 23-13, as Camdenton trailed by three at the half (10-7). Parkway Central's second effort led to two scores in the second half, and despite a great touchdown catch by Kullen Carlock in the fourth, the Lakers couldn't hold on. The Lakers finish 10-2 on the season.
