  • The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of November 11 – November 22, 2013.

  • The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of November 11 – November 22, 2013. Scheduled lane closures will not take place on Monday, November 11 for the Veteran’s Day Holiday. Weather conditions may cause postponements in the work schedule. Other construction or maintenance work may occur on other roadways throughout the area. Many projects will include lane closures, and delays can be expected.
    Camden County

    Daylight Hours
    
* Route 5 bridge over the Lake of the Ozarks at Hurricane Deck – Bridge replacement continues. The new bridge is open to traffic. The contractor will perform general cleanup under the bridge and prepare to start demolishing the old Hurricane Deck Bridge over the next several months. The work will have little impact on traffic, except when the blasting takes place. The first blast is planned for early December. Closures of the new bridge are likely during the blast times.
     
    * Route 54 over the Niangua Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks, west of Route D – Bridge inspection will take place the week of November 11. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
    Miller County

    Daylight Hours
    * Route 17 between Route 42 and Business Loop 44 in Pulaski County - Roadway resurfacing and widening of shoulders continues. One lane is open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
     
    * Route 17 between Route 52 and Route 54 in Cole County - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, November 18 through Friday, November 22. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
     
    * Route 52 between Route 17 and Route 54 - Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, November 12 through Friday, November 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
     
    * Route 54 over the Osage River, east of Wood River Road – Bridge inspection in the eastbound and westbound lanes will take place the week of November 11. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area.
     
    * Route U between Route 42 and Route EE – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Tuesday, November 12 through Friday, November 15. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
     
    * Route Y at Route W - Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, November 12 through Friday, November 22. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
     
     
    Morgan County

    Daylight Hours
    
* Route 5 between Route 52 and the Niangua Bridge in Camden County - Roadway resurfacing, widening of shoulders, and installation of rumble strips continues. Occasional lane closures are likely in the work zones.  The project is scheduled for completion in early December.
