  • Self-taught musician brings oldies to Versailles

  • The Royal Theatre on the square in Versailles will host “Sting” Ray Anthony, a self-taught guitarist, bass player, drummer, pianist, songwriter and singer Saturday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m.
    Anthony will present a ‘50s and ‘60s Rock & Roll Concert — back by popular demad.
    Anthony will rock out to tunes by Elvis, Dion, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ricky Nelson, Ritchie Valens and mant more.
    He will also perform his signature song, “La Bamba.”
    Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the Royal Theatre box office at 573-378-6226 for reservations. Adult tickets are $10 and a student/child is $5.
    Tickets may be purchased at the door, upon availability.
