  • Osage Beach Board of Aldermen begin budget meetings

  • The city of Osage Beach has set one regular and several special meetings in the next two weeks.
    The special meetings are to discuss the proposed 2014 budget, which must be adopted in December.

    The special meetings are to discuss the proposed 2014 budget, which must be adopted in December.
    Budget meetings are all at 6:30 p.m. and in the lower level conference room of the city hall.

    Regular meeting
    The board of aldermen will meet in regular session at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at the city hall.
    Agenda items include:
    --A bill accepting a portion of Parkwood Circle.
    --Discussion of Senate Bill 331 Relating to telecommunications towers.  State Rep. Rocky Miller will provide information
    --A bill regarding a banking services contract.
    --A bill authorizing Installation of a street light on Cove Road near Gerken Lane.
    --A bill considering a 2013 budget amendment.
    --Information concerning services offered by Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks
    --Authorize buy of register heads for the city’s water system
    --Ratify the city Mission Statement
