Remembered for her zest for life

Mary Louise Rogers Runyans was born on November 29, 1953 at Stoutland, Missouri to Dencil Rogers and Colleen McDaniel Johnston. She passed away with her family by her side on October 29, 2013 at Stoutland, Missouri.

Mary professed her Faith in Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Metropolitan Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kansas. She loved attending church and reading her Bible.

On November 8, 1975, Mary was united in Marriage to John Runyans and to this union two children were born, Michele and Johnny. Her greatest joy in life was raising her children.

Mary loved making memories with her family, caring for her grandchildren. She loved cooking, gardening, long walks on the beach and swimming in the ocean. Mary had a passion for music. She loved to dance and Karaoke. Mary loved life. She lived her life to the fullest every day. She loved to make those around her laugh.

Mary is survived by her husband John Runyans; her daughter Michele Brown and her Husband Josh; her son Johnny Runyans and fiancee Shay; her Mother Colleen Johnston; three sisters Donna Farris, Janice Stefancik and Jennifer Johnston; her father and mother-in-law John and Rose Runyan; three grandchildren Michael, Denver, Eric and a baby girl on the way; her best an loyal friend, Jerry Traw, which Mary often referred to as her brother. Mary is also survived by many other relatives and great friends.

Mary was a wonderful wife, loving mother, very special daughter, and the best sister anyone could ever ask for. Mary's big smile, her laughter, big kind heart and outgoing personality will be greatly missed by each and every one of us.
