The long awaited plans for a new hotel at the Old Kinderhook development are about to be unveiled.
The project planned for the lakefront development west of Camdenton on the Niangua Arm of Lake of the Ozarks has been in the planning stages since 2013. Next week, Old Kinderhook Executive Director Bob Renken, along with a host of public officials, will unveil the plans for The Lodge at Old Kinderhook. The architecture is described as a majestic lodge setting with 84 rooms. It is scheduled to open late 2014. In addition to 84 guest rooms, The Lodge at Old Kinderhook will feature a conference center for 250 and a new recreation options including an indoor pool, enhanced marina facilities and ice skating rink. The project has already been through the necessary process with the Camden County Planning and Zoning Commission.
The Lodge at Old Kinderhook completes the development's goal of becoming a destination resort by transforming the Lake of the Ozarks' golf resort into a year-round destination.
