Nancy Gray, well-known watercolorist, is the featured artist at the Vine Wine Bar and Gallery from Oct. 26 to Nov. 20. An artist meet and greet will be held at the gallery on Saturday, Oct. 26, beginning at 6 p.m.
Gray has visited almost all of the United States National Parks and enjoys painting the spectacular scenery along the way, mostly in watercolors. She also enjoys using gouache as a medium when painting animals such as wolves, deer, etc., as it allows the effect of fur and realism.
As a S.C.U.B.A. diver, Gray has experienced firsthand the vivid and exciting realm of tropical fish in their natural habitat; that influence is seen in much of her work.
She has paintings in many homes, restaurants and offices throughout the country. She has won numerous awards and has several times been selected “Artist of the Year” by the Ozark Brush and Palette, Inc.
The Vine is located at 1375 KK in Osage Beach.
