Miranda K. Southerlin-Fender, age 30, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Capital Regional Medical Center, Jefferson City, Missouri. A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, October 24, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hayden Michael Fender Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home. Miranda was born August 9, 1983 in Jefferson City, Missouri the daughter of Michael and Carla (Webb) Southerlin. On May 18, 2013 she married Cory David Fender at Parks Chapel Church. Miranda worked as a Certified Medical Technician. She enjoyed helping others and making them laugh. She always had a smile on her face. She also loved to fish and dance.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Eugene Hiram Southerlin, Virgil Brownsburger, and Carl and Kathleen Webb.
Survivors include her husband, Cory and their son, Hayden Michael Fender of the home; her father, Mike (Tracie) Southerlin of Clinton, Missouri; her mother, Carla (Gene) Christianson of Rocky Mount, Missouri; one brother, Ryan Michael Southerlin of Belle, Missouri, as well as her best friend, Marta Kolb of Taos, Missouri.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
