In regards to a view about lowering the speed limit on Highway 5 and 135 in the Laurie area, I disagree.  MoDOT, and the city council, have everything in running order. Lowering the speed limit 10 mph would cause heavy congestion.
I believe one driver not driving the speed limit already backs up a baker's dozen of cars, making the same for the opposite. It gets tiring trying to enter or leave a business as it is. Potential accidents are people driving while on their cell phone, texting, or adjusting the car radio. I always learned not to fix what's not broken.
