On Oct. 7 at 1:27 a.m., the Osage Beach Fire Protection District was called to Keystone Lane in the back of Tan Tar A Estates for a report of a commercial structure fire.
On Oct. 7 at 1:27 a.m., the Osage Beach Fire Protection District was called to Keystone Lane in the back of Tan Tar A Estates for a report of a commercial structure fire. First arriving units found heavy fire and thick smoke coming from a 40 x 100 Metal building being utilized as a Maintenance Shop. Intense fire had caused a partial collapse of the roof prior to arrival of the Fire District. First arriving units deployed a defensive strategy with an exterior attack of the fire.
In an effort to gain access to the entire building several large access holes were cut into the sides of the building allowing crews to apply water from the exterior. Once the fire was brought under control, fire crews were able to take their handlines into the structure for final extinguishment of the fire. The building was had 15-20 golf carts inside along with tools and other miscellaneous items. Crews were on the scene until 4:45 a.m. At the time of this press release the fire is still under investigation for cause.
Osage Beach Fire was assisted by Lake Ozark Fire Protection District, Mid County Fire Protection District, Camdenton City Fire Department, Osage Beach Ambulance and Mercy Ambulance with a total of 24 personnel.
