Friday, October 4th

Project Homeless Connect is an event for homeless individuals and families in need.  Over 30 different services will all be in one place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Crossings Building at 810 E. Shepherd Ave.  Many healthcare agenicies will be in attendance, Veteran’s agencies, Mental Health groups, Dental Unit, Career Center and many more.  Each participant will be provided lunch, food kit, and a hygiene kit Family photos and hair cuts available. KirkTran will be free on Friday. Call 660-627-1224 for more event about the event.

                                   

Friday, October 4th Farm to table Dinner

The Second Annual Farm to Table Dinner is at Jackson Stables, 22694 Rainbow Basin Trail.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. The menu is local green salad, butternut squash soup, Coleman Farms grass fed beef pot roast or spaghetti squash with marinara and seasonal pie with ice cream.  All proceeds go the the Green Thumb project.  Call 660-626-3219 for more information.

 

Saturday, October 5th

Kirksville Scottish Highland Games will be all day Saturday at on the lawn of the Lutheran Church at 1810 S. Baltimore.  Come enjoy bagpipes, feats of strength men in kilts!  Travel back in time and across the sea without leaving home.  Contact 660-341-1755 for more information.

 

Saturday, October 5th

Artoberfest at the Kirksville Arts Center is a wine and beer tasting from 4:30 -7:30 p.m.  Enjoy tasting many varieties of wine and beer.   Food will also be available.  Enjoy the artwork of Paul Jackson, watercolorist.  Contact 660-665-0500 for more information.
