    Oct. 4
    1st Friday Coffee will be from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. at the Lee House, 105 N. Mill St.  State Rep. David Wood will be speaking.  After the coffee, the group will go to the Philly Cafe to award them a Community Betterment Certificate for renovation to the outside of their building.
     
    Oct. 5
    Miller County Care & Rehab Center will host its Annual Fair Festival Hog Roast & Auction from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Eldon Chamber of Commerce & the Iberia Chamber of Commerce will hold a joint ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m. to dedicate the new Alzheimer's Unit.  There will be all day entertainment, country store, silent and live auctions.
     
    Oct. 5
    The Moonlight Bike Ride A Tour-De-Eldon 2013 will be held this from 8 to about 9:30 p.m. with refreshments.  The ride will start at the Community Center parking lot and riders must be 10 years or older. All riders must have flashlights or bicycle lights.  Helmets are preferred but not required. For information, call Misty Bishop at 392-2291 ext. 226.
     
    Oct. 9
    State Reps. David Wood and Rocky Miller will host a Golf Tournament Fundraiser at the Eldon Country Club.  Lunch and registration will start at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12 noon.
     
    Oct. 10
    Mike Kehoe's 2013 Flapjack Tour will be held from 7 to 8:30 a.m. at Gateway Industries, 1204 E. North St., Eldon. Complimentary pancakes, sausage and coffee are included. The community is invited.
     
    Oct. 12
    The Oak Ridge Boys 40th Anniversary Tour Concert will be at Shawnee Bluff Vineyard. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., show starts at 7:30 p.m. Chamber members can purchase $30 reserved seating for $15. Numbers to call for tickets are 573-616-9463 & 573-207-0705.
