So I'm currently going through a 21 day detox. It's a program with the company I work for. It's really tough just because I don't eat a lot of vegetables. I'm learning though, I promise. I wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and that is the greatest feeling EVER!!!! However, I feel like my family is suffering. I have rarely cooked just because then I am tempted to eat and I don't want to screw this up. The plan has supplements and a 21 day meal plan which is great so that I have something to follow, which is what I need.
However, I have learned, that I can eat the foods I love, just is moderation. They(whoever they are) aren't lying when they tell you that its all about portion control. I've also learned that you're supposed to drink half of your body weight in water each day, which for me is a whole lot of water, and that you're supposed to eat vegetables on an empty stomach so that the sugars disolve properly.
Another thing that has happened in the last month, is that I dislocated my knee. The doctor told me to stay off of it as much as I can and I'm seeing an amazing physical therapist! It's definitely feeling better, but that kind of hindered my exercising. I did purchase a new program that is only 25 minutes a day so I'm excited to get that rolling!
I'm promising you a recipe this week!! Every one I've talked to about it is excited to try it. It's not much of a meal as it is a side dish!! Also, if you want to keep in contact with me daily, check out the facebook page I've set up: https://www.facebook.com/AshleyGetFit
