This will be a very short post on the eve of the KV-POP (Kirksville – Protect Our Pets) kick-off meeting.

After talking to dozens of people at our booth at the Red Barn Festival, I am more convinced than ever of two things: 1) some people in this community need help paying for spay/neuter, dealing with common behavioral issues, and acquiring an ID tag for their pet; 2) other people are more than willing to help! KV-POP can serve as a mediator between these two groups -- enabling neighbors to help neighbors.

I hope to see many of you at tonight’s meeting: 7:00 PM at the Adair County Health Department (1001 S. Jamison Street) in Kirksville. KV-POP will need your energy, experience, ideas, and financial support!
