The east side's newest retail center continues to attract new businesses.
Andy Prewitt, who manages The Shoppes at Eagles' Landing, announced to the Lake Ozark Board of Aldermen Tuesday night that a popular sports bar and eatery ― Buffalo Wild Wings ― will locate in Eagles' Landing within the next year.
Construction has already begun, with completion anticipated by spring. The 6,500-square-foot business will be located next to the CVS Pharmacy.
"This will be a great addition to Eagles' Landing," Prewitt said. "Buffalo Wild Wings is a huge draw and when combined with the shopping and entertainment opportunities in the Landing, we expect this to be a huge success."
Buffalo Wild Wings is one of the nation's premier sports bar organizations. They offer dozens of varieties of their signature chicken wings in addition to burgers, sandwiches and other fare. For the beer enthusiast, Buffalo Wild Wings offers a wide variety of domestic, imported, craft and specialty draft and bottle beers.
The multi-theater Eagles' Landing Ciné 8 movie theater will open for showings Nov. 1.
All auditoriums will include "snuggle-seating" with movable armrests so guests can get close, stadium-seating and sharp, clear digital picture and sound. The concession stand will be larger and offer a wider variety of snacks for hungry movie-goers. Guests will also have the option of filling their own soda to include as much or little ice as they like, and to make refills hassle free.
A soft opening for invited guests is planned Oct. 30, with a Halloween costume night and free showings Thursday, Oct. 31.
The Osage Village 5 Cine in Premium Outlet Mall will continue to operate as normal.
Prewitt said once the theater and Wild Wings open, additional restaurants and retailers are expected to announce their plans to locate in Eagles' Landing.
