The Camden County commission set the tax levy for the upcoming year on Tuesday. The levy did not change.
The current property tax levy has two parts, general revenue and road and bridge. Each account generates 11 cents per $100 worth of accessed valuation.
County Clerk, Rowland Todd recommended that the levy stay the same.
The levy generated $1 million and 646,534.85 in the general revenue fund and $1 million and 648,574.02 in the road and bridge fund during 2011.
For 2012, the general revenue generated $1 million and 737,508.53 and road and bridge generated $1 million 739,476.91.
