It might be in a new building, but the great food is still the same. Wobbly Boots has been a local favorite for great barbecue at the Lake for nine years, and moved into it's third location the first week in September. The move isn’t very far, just across the parking lot in a renovated restaurant.
The new spot has a rustic, industrial feel to it with lots of reclaimed and re-purposed material — a barn from the 1800s, a bar from the 1930s, reclaimed doors and restaurant furniture, and re-purposed light fixtures. Additional seating, a hostess station, and extra room to enjoy the NFL Sunday Ticket or Mizzou Football were some of the things were addressed. A patio and fireplace, along with some unique seating areas will be available.
Wobbly Boots is a great family-friendly restaurant with a sports bar feel.
“Our goal was to improve on what has been successful for us,” owner Mark Barrett said.
As expected, the award-winning barbecue is the top seller on the menu with pulled pork being the number-one favorite. Brisket, smoked wings and ribs are also great sellers.
Not just a barbecue joint, the menu offers great burgers, salads and sandwiches.
Catering and takeout is available. Live entertainment is offered on select evenings.
