  • Come fall into fun at Branson’s 40th Autumn Daze Festival.
Fall will soon be arriving across the state and now is better than never to start celebrating the approaching season. Pumpkins, color-changing leaves and cooler temperatures mean Fall is approaching.
The Branson community invites the public to fall into the fun at historic downtown Branson’s Autumn Daze Arts, Crafts, and Music Festival Thursday, Sept. 19 through Saturday, Sept.21.
Downtown Branson’s Events Coordinator Jessica Luthardt says, “We’re putting up a second large tent to accommodate all of our returning craft vendors and all the new ones applying each day.”
Branson is celebrating 40 years of this festival which is behind Dick’s 5 & 10 and in Commercial street between Main and Atlantic. The goal of the festival is for the community to have some fun, shop unique handmade items and show-off the Branson hospitality to its many visitors.
Come ready to pick up all your holiday gifts for those on your list as well as for yourself. Artisans will be on hand showing and selling what they’ve been hard-at-work making including mouth-watering food.
Branson performers including Barry Williams, George Dyer, Baldknobbers, Voices of Glory, Tyler Bryce, The Fair Family, ABBA’s Thank You For The Music and more live entertainment will be entertaining the public throughout the festival.
     The festivals hours are Friday 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The festival will host tributes to POW’s and MIA’s at 10 a.m. on Saturday and give thanks to all the selfless men and women who serve this country.  The festival's coordinator's thoughts are with US Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl who is currently a Prisoner of War; he was captured June 30, 2009 in Afghanistan.
