The Vine is the perfect place to catch up with old friends, sip on your favorite wine, eat delectable dishes and ponder the art on display. Local photographer Robin Tucker will soon be the artist behind the artwork on display at The Vine.
Tucker, primarily a commercial and portrait photographer, is stepping out of her comfort zone to spotlight some of her favorite photographs. She describes herself as a true introvert and uncomfortable with being in the spotlight.
"When I expressed the thought, 'I should do something like that sometime,' " Tucker said of displaying her photographs. "A couple of supporters pretty much just made it happen. I am very blessed with wonderful friends and close family."
Everything from Lake of the Ozarks scenes, floral shots and scenery from Tucker's travels will all be on display.
For Tucker, photography is truly something she simply enjoys and she hopes those that make it out to her show enjoys it as well.
"I have very simple style, none of my work is ground breaking, I just love taking pictures. I don’t know that there’s anything for the audience to take away after seeing my work. I just hope people enjoy coming to peek at a few of my favorite photographs and enjoy a great evening with good food and wine at my favorite place at the lake – The Vine," she said.
Tucker's photographs will be on display at The Vine starting on Sept. 28 throughout the month of October. An Artist meet and greet will be held on Sept. 28 for the public to come out, view her art, meet the artist and enjoy some time at The Vine.
