The Camdenton Lakers, coming off of an 0-2 loss to Helias last week, looked to bounce back from their 1-1 record and pick up their second win as they hosted the Kickapoo Chiefs on Tuesday night.
Despite a hard-fought match, Camdenton was handed their second loss on the season with a 4-0 shutout from Kickapoo.
The Lakers' next match will be on Friday, Sept. 13 at home against Bolivar.
The Osage Indians, after starting the season 0-2, quickly pulled a turnaround, winning their last two matches to reach the .500 mark.
In last week's match against Crocker, the boys returned home after a 3-2 win.
The team returned to action on Tuesday night as they hosted Cole Camp, and the Indians jumped out to a quick lead and never looked back, defeating the Bluebirds in a 5-2 match.
Senior Wyatt Whitman led the team with three goals, followed by Shane Sabourin and Skyler Bax with one goal apiece.
The Indians' next match comes on Monday, Sept. 16 as the Osage squad heads to Laquey before returning home to play Stover the next night.
